Recently, the International Gas Union (IGU) formally sent a letter thanking BUCEA for its significant contribution to the 29th World Gas Conference (WGC2025). As IGU’s first global flagship industry event held in China, the Conference attracted nearly 4,000 government officials, energy experts, and scholars from 76 countries, making it the largest gathering in the history of the World Gas Conference.

BUCEA took the lead in hosting a high-level forum that deeply explored the critical role of universities and colleges in industry advancement, receiving high acclaim from attendees.

40 volunteers from BUCEA supported conference operations, accumulating over 1,000 service hours.

This international recognition demonstrates BUCEA’s growing influence in energy education.
